HippiOra respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We never store full credit card details.
We may collect:
Necessary cookies support account sign-in, your shopping bag, fraud prevention, security, and other core website functions. These remain active because the storefront cannot operate safely without them.
With your permission, optional cookies remember recently viewed products and help us analyze website traffic. Guest recently viewed history is kept in the browser for up to 30 days. For signed-in customers who allow optional cookies, recent history may be linked to the account across devices for up to 90 days. We keep no more than 50 recent products per customer.
Your cookie choice lasts up to six months unless you clear browser cookies or change it sooner through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Rejecting optional cookies stops this tracking and clears HippiOra's saved recently viewed history for the current signed-in account.
A first-party functional cookie prevents the newsletter invitation from interrupting every visit. Choosing “Not now” hides it for up to 30 days; a successful signup hides it for up to one year. Clearing browser cookies makes the invitation eligible to appear again.
If you allow optional cookies, we may use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand storefront use and measure marketing performance. These services are not loaded before you allow optional cookies.
We also use first-party, consent-based analytics to understand storefront traffic, shopping steps, and page performance. This reporting uses a short-lived anonymous session identifier and coarse location supplied by our hosting provider. It does not store your IP address, email, customer account ID, precise coordinates, or full browser user-agent. Query strings are excluded from page reports, and this anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 395 days.
If you subscribe, we may send promotional emails in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
We only share information with trusted service providers required to operate our business.
We never sell your personal information.
You may request access, correction, deletion (where legally permitted), or withdraw marketing consent by emailing hello@hippiora.ca.
